At Morris Hometown Vets, we believe in doing things the right way
Every surgical patient is intubated and continuously monitored by our trained veterinary team using comprehensive monitoring equipment. We monitor vital parameters, including heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels, and carbon dioxide output, throughout their procedure
We use heated surgical tables and Bair Hugger warming systems to help maintain your pet’s body temperature during anesthesia. We also utilize appropriate anesthesia and pain management techniques to ensure your pet’s comfort and safety
Our veterinarians and technicians adhere to the highest standards of veterinary medicine, providing every patient with the attention, expertise, and compassionate care they deserve
Spay, Neuter & Dental Information
Rabies vacination is required for all surgical patients
Additional charges may apply for females in heat, with pyometra, or pregnant, or males with undescended (cryptorchid) testicles
We offer vaccinations and other wellness services on the same day as your pet’s surgery
All Surgical Appointments require a non-refundable surgical scheduling fee

We recommend an IV Catheter with Fluids and an E-Collar for your pet with surgery. These options are available when you check in for surgery
Pre-Surgical Bloodwork is required for any patient over 3 years of age
We do not offer surgery for exotic cats, brachycephalic dogs, or patients with diabetes, Addison’s disease, or bleeding disorders. We recommend visiting our partner hospital, Rusty Ridge Animal Center in Shorewood, where your pet can receive care in an advanced hospital setting with specialized equipment and resources to support their medical and surgical needs.
There is a $6 medical waste fee
A 3% processing fee will be added to all credit card payments. This helps us maintain affordable services while covering transaction costs
